Prerequisite: Students MUST complete prerequisite course: Intro To Rifle Drills. An entry level, hands-on course for shooters new to optic-equipped AR platforms, or those who want to solidify fundamentals. We’ll cover safe rifle handling, consistent mount and cheek weld, optic sight picture, presentation from the sling/low ready, magazine changes, immediate action drills for common malfunctions, and movement. This class will begin in a classroom then proceed onto the range. Required items: AR Platform rifle with mounted and zeroed optic (gunsmith recommended) 100-150 rounds of reliable ammunition for your firearm Shotgun or lever action : 20 Slug, 100 Buckshot Eye and ear protection Sling (single or two-point) Magazines – 2 minimum
